APT™ provides information about player activity that can be used to customize highly specific promotions and tailor rewards to encourage increased play. Managers can customize by type of wager, type of race, favorite meets and a number of other parameters. For cross-purpose promotions, users can establish customized groups of players based on a variety of criteria and combinations of variables.

APT™ is a sub-system of the Business Management Platform, so the same flexibility in reporting and functionality offered by the Platform is part of the APT™ offering as well. Because APT™ can access detailed files created by the tote, reports can be generated in near-real time, as the information is made available by the system.

Management of player rewards is a key aspect of any Player Tracking system and APT™ meets the requirement by providing an intuitive, shopping-cart-style redemption screen. Tellers process redemptions quickly and accurately, keeping a running tally of point status on an on-going basis.

The APT System uses specialized kiosks for on-site player redemption.   The reward redemption process – whether accessed on line or on a track-based kiosk – uses a familiar shopping cart mechanism that updates point balances as the patron selects rewards.
