INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS

Scientific Games Racing has been meeting the needs of wagering operations all over the world since the company’s original incarnation as Automatic Totalisator in Sydney, Australia in the 1920’s.
Since then, the company has established sales and service offices throughout Europe and has provided systems, terminals and operational support and other services to customers on every continent.

Our operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa manage more than 11,000 temporary track workers, operate and maintain more than 13,000 terminals and support approximately 23,000 races annually.  The company provides systems and services to customers in Ireland, Turkey, Germany and the Netherlands, and provides hardware, software and systems to customers in the United Kingdom, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Spain and Cyprus.

We operate the Essen Data Center in Germany which serves as Scientific Games’ International Gateway for commingling racing product from Europe, Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean.

SG Racing in Europe provides full venue management for the racetracks and OTB parlors in the Netherlands (www.autotote.nl) including an Internet wagering site for the Dutch race wagering market.

Scientific Games Worldwide Ltd. (Ireland)

Scientific Games Worldwide Services Ltd. (Ireland) was established in 1993 in Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland. It is the lead business unit responsible for all international lottery and racing services business conducted on behalf of Scientific Games Corporation outside the USA, including software, hardware, point-of-sale terminals and continuing support. Over 80,000 terminals have been supplied to date, direct from the facility to international customers.
