As growth of the instant lottery ticket category continues to place increased demand on the manufacturing, finishing and game programming processes, Scientific Games has been challenged to step forward and invest in this business reality.

The Company has answered the challenge with a sweeping, multi-year, $55 million investment in new processes, new systems and new technology to enhance and extend its worldwide manufacturing operations, particularly in the U.S. , Canada and England. Since 1974, Scientific Games has printed more than 300 billion instant lottery tickets for over 120 lotteries worldwide. In 2009 and 2010, Scientific Games added two additional, state-of-the-art, in-line web presses to its worldwide manufacturing capacity to continue to support strong instant ticket demand worldwide. Annually, the Company's six printing locations offer a total ticket capacity of 48 billion.

The Company focuses its product design efforts, program creations, and business decisions on what is best for the retailer and ultimately the player. That information is used to develop best-in-class support plans for lottery customers through the delivery of products and services to retailers and players.
